9/15/07 Caribbean Blue wins first place at intro B Dressage at The Windermere stables Wichita Kansas with the incredible score of 77%!!

9/7/07Caribbean Blue comes 5th place at her first show at Lamplight in the intro B dressage class

She also came 4th place in the RIDSH/Irish Sport horse brood mare class at the National ID show held at Lamplight.

Caribbean Blue also known as Caragan is a beautiful fully approved black 5 year old Irish Sport horse by Touch Of The Blues. Caragan is almost a carbon copy of her RID sire but a smaller package and is one of the most intelligent horses I have ever ridden!

Caragan is such a super tidy Registered Irish Sport horse mare with excelent conformation, fantastic bone and great substance. She was started under saddle as a late 3 year old by a professional trainer and then was turned away to mature mentally and physically. In the summer of 2006 we brought her back into work and she is continuing to do very well. Caragan has already been ridden in two dressage clinics and has just started her training over small jumps.

Last year we presented Caragan at the Irish Draught society inspection in Kansas City and we are thrilled to report that she scored an incrediable 130 points out of a possible 165 with the written comment, "A superb little mare!" She scored excellent for temperament, head & neck and movement. The judges made the comment if she was for sale in Ireland she would be snapped up and would make a superb working hunter or event horse. For the time being, I am enjoying bringing this lovely Irish Sport horse mare along in her training.
