Manu Forti's Rakish Lad is a superb Irish Draught foal. He is by the gorgeous bay RID stallion Milligan who stands in England. Milligan is by the well known grade A Show jumper Rakish Paddy out of Monivea Rose by RID Grey Macha. Milligan was a perfect match for Ffion as they are both outstanding movers and have perfect conformation. The dam of the foal, Rose Ffion is by Finbar (Sire to Foxglen Himself) out of Cherie Rose by Colman. Colman is well known for passing on very good movement to his stock. Rose Ffion was a multi-champion mare in her day while she lived in England and has produced some fantastic stock in the past.

A gorgeous grey purebred Irish Draught colt born April 25, 2002 that has great movement size, bone and presence. A very independent young man who is full of confidence and is very athletic! This colt is a serious stallion prospect and is the only offspring in America by the British RID stallion Hillviewfarm Milligan. Milligan is doing very well at Dressage in the U.K. and possesses the splendid jump of his sire Rakish Paddy RID, Grade A show jumper.
